On February 6th, 2019, the SpeechXRays consortium organized jointly with the Bucharest Chamber of Commerce and Industry the event entitled "SpeechXRays: The first voice biometrics solution calibrated for the Romanian language" which was attended by representatives of the academy and the industry. The event included a live presentation of the SpeechXRays multi-modal biometric system and ended with a discussion on the development of biometrics at large in Romania.
